How to create paranormal activity effect . . . .

where the door opens and closes on it's own. I think using fishing line would work. I was planning on having the actor on the bed. So if someone was operating the fishing line from the floor out of sight it may work. I'm not sure if there are any other possible ways. Anyone have ideas? Tricks I can use in post production too would help.
