Digital collection highlights special effects creator Norman Dawn's work

The Harry Ransom Center at The University of Texas at Austin recently launched a platform of digital collections on its website, which includes the Norman O. Dawn collection.

Dawn was a relatively obscure yet historically significant early special effects cinematographer, inventor, artist, and motion picture director, writer, and producer. More than 240 items from that collection can be viewed, including Dawn’s illustrated special effects processes.
