Disney channel 'Vacation eps'

Not just referring to the upcoming Hawaii episode for the show 'Good Luck Charlie' but in general for any Disney show. It's obvious (via preview) that they will just shoot on a stage set and possibilly beach front but not actually in Hawaii.

Miss when shows would actually be willing to take their actors on an actual vacation and shoot the scenes from that specific place. I'm into old shows and can only think of episodes such as 'Growing Pains' and 'Sanford and Son'. Which both were given Hawaiian episodes and actually were filmed there.

I understand budgets / etc would be costly but why waste the time claiming to have a show (characters) somewhere when they actually are not? It's just a tease and insult (true some ppl believe they are there) but seriously.

Didnt the Brady Bunch go to Hawaii?? I thought Full House went there as well. The difference between those shows and current crop of shows is (especially using that Disney Channel show as an example) the current shows are on a much more limited budget than the 60s-80s network sitcoms of ABC, CBS, NBC.

Going back to past shows in actual vacation locations, Facts of Life.
