That's pretty much what IMDB told every user of the message boards on Feb. 20th when they shut them down for good...and without a suitable replacement, I might add. Since then, I haven't been back.
Here's an excellent movie discussion board which is completely troll-free, and where one can have mature adult conversations about movies and TV (no bad language allowed.) They're been around a long time (since the pre-social media days) and are definitely worth checking out:

Aw, screw it. I just assumed the link would be automatically clickable--duh, it's not. Anyway, the site's called Mobius Home Video Forum, and it's definitely worth going to. You have to type in the name of the site itself to go directly to it.
