Question about Marvel contracts

It is my understanding that Marvel normally makes the leading stars of their big blockbuster movies sign a contract which obligates them to star in multiple movies. e.g. Chris Evans signed a 6 movie deal (including the 2 Captain America movies).

Now I understand that Chris HAS to star in the remaining 4 future movies but is Marvel obligated to make those 4 movies? I mean can Marvel decide that maybe after Captain America 3 they don't want to continue the franchise or maybe reboot it with a new actor? And not cast Chris Evans again?

Just curious. Does anyone know?

I'd imagine since Marvel is the demanding party, he would be let off the hook if they so decided.
