Superhero/Superpower novels?

I was wondering if there are any good novels about people with superpowers or novels that touch on subject that's normally in comics? The only example I can think of is Jumper by Steven Gould.

Wild Cards series edited by George R. R. Martin (yes, the Game Of Thrones author) and in collaboration with a small army of science fiction writers.

There are a lot of novels about people with super powers out there. The "Wearing The Cape" series by Marion C Harmon, "Stelheart" by Brandon Sanderson,"Playing For Keeps" by Mur Lafferty. The list is a lot longer than a lot of people realise. Try "Amazon Books" and simply type in "Superhero" and you will find pages of titles.

Oops ! That should be "Steelheart".

Animorphs could count, depending on how you define the superhero genre, like where you put the boundary. It's also much more serious than most comics.
