After reading the first clue many things will pop into your mind.
Please try to resist. If you're like me and can't resist the answer would be no.

1. I'm small but I become bigger.
2. I have multiple uses.
3. I'm not musical but I like to hum. Especially when I get turned on.
4. I'm usually used for good but sometimes for bad.
5. Part of my power shares a name with a TV or your blood
6. I can hurt and heal with one motion

No. proton pack was a little closer. Nothing to do with Ghostbusters.

I added a clue.
After this I will start adding clue that will bring it home.
