anybody know what happened to this show? is it ever going to get made?

i remember hearing about a show called, "Danger Island", the premise is that they take Ex Cons, (no sex crimes---just misdeamor stuff) and put them on this island and they have to escape and then they take 'real life' Deputys, people apply to be both Deputys and Ex Cons and the winner gets 1,000,000--NOT for them, the money goes the the victim of their last crime--or to their children. The do not make any money themselves.

I heard that Lou Ferigno was supposed to be involved in this. Any one hear of this? I thought the premise sounded great.
