I HATE THIS GENRE WITH A PASSION!!

They pretty much have, I like some of them, yet others I despise. I used to love Survivor but now I can't see what I ever saw in it. I love Big Brother and I'm really looking forward to the return of the Mole. I hate pretty much all the MTV reality stuff except a few season of Road Rules and the Real Worls just one season. Next is a guily pleasure but it's ridiculous and probably all staged. I hate all the Bachelor type stuff. As well as the makeover and nanny shows. American Idol auditions and Beatles night are good but the rest is lame. Joe Schmo 1 was one of my favorite shows.

To me it just depends on the cast. I enjoy reality shows but to me it's ridiculous that Freaks and Geeks, Undeclared, Roswell, My So Called Life, Strangers with Candy were all cancelled but Flavor of Love has lsated longer than all those shows.

The only one I can really stand is Hell's Kitchen (US). Even if it is staged, there's usually an LOL moment.

I used to like Survivor, but got bored with it, and Flavor of Love is just background noise...though it provides a good lesson for girls on how NOT to act.

But yeah, it seems like most TV shows these days are either "reality" shows or soap operas.

I feel when Reality shows first game out that is cool but now its like there is to many of them and they are all like the others. Survivor was good at first but its run its course i think. I think we seen enough of that. American Idol is another one it was good at first but its more of a popular contest then someone that can really sing. the 2 that are left this year is because teens voted them not because they can really sing. Then you have a show where one guy takes 20 girls and he picks one to be his wife. Then you have wife swap and all them its like i miss the 80s and 90s when we had real tv shows.

The only good reality shows is America's Next Top Model and American Idol, all the rest are stupid. TV is plagued by this genre. IT NEEDS TO STOP!!!

We can but only with DVD sets.

Unfortunately even when it takes a major downfall, reality is most likely going to stick around in some capacity forever. I think it will peak around 2011. After that it won't be able to expand any further. I want to be around when it hits the big collapse.
