Did Alaska buy the F'cking Discovery Channel, or what?

I have nothing against the neighbors to the North but, Christ, like 20 reality shows based on Alaska. Alaska is not a frontier...nobody wants to f'cking live there--that doesn't make a place a "frontier."
I do like watching "Life Below Zero". I find it fascinating to see how people in those remote areas live/survive. I don't think I could ever do it.

Alaska is beautiful, I would love to live there. A cozy cabin with a cast iron wood stove and a few Alaskan Malamute's and I'm all set.
