Building a computer

Hello, I am quite new to this. I want to get myself a gaming pc, but I do not know much about computers. So I was wondering if I could get some help with that on here. I know a couple basic things, like, what kind of parts you need and the diffrences between normal storage and RAM. But for me it’s more about puchasing, is it worth it to buy my parts seperate and assemble the pc myself? Even though I hardly know anything about computers? Or should I just buy a full pc?
