Omg I can see how that can happen, because if the blade was sharp enough if would hav slced straight through with not much immeadiate pain uck!

That is truly one of the most bizarre things I've heard in a while, and I'm in theater! All actors should be careful that their props aren't the real thing! The guy was lucky.

Damn, that's scary!! I always check my props and I tell my actors to always check their props. I'm going to share this story with them to scare them some more.

Wow, the reporter wasn't kidding about that sounding like a murder mystery plot. The same thing happens to an actor in "Death of a Hollow Man," a 1998 episode of Midsomer Murders.
