Sarcastic characters who talk as if...


... they don't care about the situation they're snarking at? You might be thinking of examples of deadpan humour, right? The thing is that it's not about the tone; it's about the attitude. Many deadpan characters do care about being heard.

The one I'm looking for tend to be like these:
-They don't make eye contact. I don't mean that they roll their eyes; I mean that they turn their heads or even their whole body in order to look somewhere else.
-They don't talk directly at anyone. It's as if they're reflecting over something... except out loud.
-They were doing something before snarking and keep on doing it (like nothing was happening) while they snark. In real life, I've seen people like this reading a magazine or filing their nails.
