I wouldn't want to but just because it doesn't feel safe to me. If a trip was set up by a travel agent who knows more about Central/Eastern Europe than I do (which would certainly be the case) perhaps it would be a good experience.

What's so dangerous about central/eastern Europe? Sure there's some crime and other dangerous things but not more than most countries.

I'm very comfortable travelling alone, or with others. I would much prefer to travel solo, than with someone who needs to do everything together. I can't think of anyplace where I would be hesitant to travel by myself.
