Any other Dali fans out there?

There was a fantastic exhibition on in Edinburgh recently on surrealism and there were a lot of his works on show.
I'm a big fan of Max Ernst as well and a lot of his more powerful works are at the guggenheim in Venice.

I've been to the Dali museum in St Petersburg Florida but not the new one. I'm heading down there this coming weekend and will definitely be there.

I like Dali, I saw some of his work in a surrealist exhibition. (The Lobster Telephone was there, along with some other paintings he did.) I have a couple of books about Dali in my art book collection.

Though when it comes to surrealist art in general, I prefer Rene Magritte.

I like Dali a lot, an affection that goes way back to my teen years.

One of the best technical painters since the Dutch School.

Dali was an icon. I love his combination of classical influences with psychedelic ones, undoubtedly since I grew up loving Michelangelo as a hippy teen.

I try to create fantastic things, magical things, things like in a dream. The world needs more fantasy. Our civilisation is too mechanical. We can make the fantastic real, and then it is more real than what actually exists.
