This book is about the heart of prejudice and the fact that it has existed in this country since its beginning. Humans who are not born caucasian are judged and found guilty of any number of crimes simply by association of pigment. Prejudice has been ingrained into us since before we were born and those who are not caucasian are convicted before they are born. As a nation we judge all based on the actions of a few. Those of us who call ourselves Christians should remember that we are to be non-judgmental but that is one lesson we still can't quite seem to master.

This book is one of those that you can't put down. It makes you lose sleep at night, grouchy when you are pulled away, and worth every minute you are late to work. It is very easy to read yet very thought provoking. It is honest and real. There will be those individuals who will criticize the typographical errors. However, the author had no formal education, he taught himself how to read and write. Could you write a book with that little education?...Perhaps, but doubtful.

Kudos to Mr. Cole, may our system, our government, and our world change and begin to give all humans the same respect, regardless of their skin tone.
