Is Wendy's trying to adopt a new image to their restaurants?

I have been a Wendy's fan all my life and I have noticed that Wendy's is trying to attract more customers to their restaurants by adopting a new image? Is it because Wendy's is trying to compete with other fast food chains such as Burger King and McDonald's? Because I have noticed that Wendy's seems to be coming out with all new burgers and special meal deals like the Baconator burger the Dave's Double burger and the Biggie Bag and it seems that Wendy's wants to copy McDonald's and have a signature burger like the Burger King Whopper and the Big Mac from McDonald's. I think that Wendy's also wants to attract the younger generation by having appealing commercials for their food because ever since Dave Thomas passed away in the 90's Wendy's quality of their food started to go downhill but when they got a new president Wendy's food had improved. And so I think with these new menu items Wendy's hopes to be still be alive with a new audience. If I was on a desert island with little to eat my survival food would be Wendy's hamburgers because they are great tasting

When I was a little kid back in the early 70s we were only able it go to Wendy's when we drove 100 miles to a much larger town in my state and for some reason I thought they were the best hamburgers I could ever have.

After we got a Wendys in my town they didn't seem so great.

Good but no better than Jack in the Box in my opinion. Besides, Jack has better prices.

I think that when Wendy's was in it's prime it was in the 1980's and during the 80's Wendy's had introduced many interesting items such as hot dogs their breakfasts and the famous SuperBar which had almost any food you could imagine but once their most popular foods and the SuperBar disappeared I think it hurt Wendy's terribly. And even today if you go to some Wendy's locations they still serve breakfast but you don't see commercials advertising it. But what could shape up Wendy's new image would be a smart idea to have an all day breakfast menu and have such items such as hot dogs and roast beef sandwiches and many people would love it. And with a smart idea Wendy's could get even more customers and make huge money

It's been so long since Wendy's served breakfast in my town that I don't even remember what they offered. But I do remember that it was really good (so much better than the crap McD has) and I was disappointed when they stopped.

Have you ever been to Habit Burger?

I went there recently and was surprised at how reasonable the prices are. For about the same price you'd pay for a crappy Double Quarter Pounder at McDs you can buy a double burger with cheese there.

I highly recommend it.
