I've never had Kellogg's "Corn Pops" cereal....

...and in fact I didn't even know about them until I saw the word in a crossword puzzle I was doing this morning.

Anybody here ever had them? I guess they've been around since 1950, and they even went through a couple of name changes over the years: Corn Pops, Sugar Corn Pops, Sugar Pops, Pops, and back to Corn Pops.

Don't mess with me, man! I know karate, judo, ju-jitsu..... and several other Japanese words.

I ate Corn Pops quite a bit in the '80s. 
They were just lightly sweet, and yummy.

I haven't had them in 20 years or more, so I am not sure if they taste as they used to.

I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus.

Loved them when I was a kid.

Oh yes. All the time as a kid. That and honeycomb yummie!

Yes, of course! They can be a bit too soggy while eating it with milk.

Simply me.

I had them when I was a kid and didn't like them. I tried them again as an adult and they were okay. I don't though eat cereal on a regular basis, especially the sugary kind.

Back in the 1950's, they were called Sugar Corn Pops and the box featured a pic of Guy Madison as Wild Bill Hickock from the TV show of that era.

I tried them once, a long time ago. You're not missing much. There's better cereals out there.

The two staple cereals in our house when my brother and I were kids were:
