I saw a couple of testimonies from two ex-IDF’s and a current IDF-whistleblower admitting that their border defense is so accurately sensitive that it could detect almost anything, even small animals, but somehow they were “coincidentally” caught off guard by loud tractors/motors, etc., lol.
It wasn't entirely an intelligence failure. Israeli intelligence detected a surge in activity on some of the Gazan terrorist networks it monitors and sent an alert to the Israeli soldiers guarding the Gazan border. Those soldiers either didn't receive the alert or didn't read it. Hamas then sent drones to disable some of the IDF's cellular communications stations and surveillance towers along the border, preventing the duty officers from monitoring the area remotely with video cameras. The drones also destroyed remote-controlled machine guns that Israel had installed on its border fortifications.
IDF had counters and preparations against what Hamas did to disable their stations.
You admitted below that the Israelis knew about the attack after it started within one hour at most, yet they incompetently took several hours to set-off a counter-offensive when they have been preparing for years.
How many coincidences will it take for you to consider for one moment that there is something wrong with the timing of everything related to this attack? How many excuses will you make? How much propaganda will you continue to use for it? How much will you twist reality to fit your own POV and narrative?
Like you said, I admitted that the Israeli government took several hours to respond in force to the attack. That's a perfect example of incompetence. The attack succeeded as well as it did because of the Israeli government's incompetence. You say that the IDF had counters against what Hamas did to disable their stations but if that's true then incompetence could just as easily explain the failure of the IDF to use those counters. I don't see what's "wrong" with the "timing" of everything related to this attack. It can all be easily explained by incompetence. You don't have any evidence at all that this failure was a result of anything besides incompetence and you can't explain to me how letting this attack happen benefited the Israeli government in any way.
