A jury in Texas found Thursday that Infowars founder Alex Jones must pay the family of a 6-year-old boy killed in the 2012 mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., $4.1 million in compensatory damages for defamation after falsely claiming that the massacre was a hoax.

reporting tragedies is one thing. lying and saying its a false flag, and they are actors. and that those parents of dead kids are just acting and pretending and hired by the CIA and then ebbing forced to move multiple times because Alex's psychotic audience is harassing them and claiming their kids arent dead they are lying. is different

I think him saying everything is a fake inside job is laughable, but he does have a right to say it in this country. Making him pay millions to these families is a joke. He should be forced to have a dinner with each and every one of these families(individually). That would be much harder to stomach.

For the record, in his response video, Jones, claims he was talking with one of the family members outside the courthouse after the verdict, but the lawyer for the family push them apart. Whether that is true or not I don't know, but I hope it is, and if it is that is worth far more than 4.1 million dollars.
