I mean, yeah, the left can be weird about some things, but most of these people are well intentioned. Elect Republicans though, and really terrible things happen.

A very distinct possibility that the lawmakers who ban abortion in conservative states will be voted out.
Republicans could rue this ruling, as it might make many take a more moderate stance in the topic, which would be in conflict with the religious right.
You should be aware that the people in those area do want abortion banned, and these politicians will not be voted out.
In fact, they will probably will re-election with their actions.
The ruling could change the type people who come out and vote.

How many young female millennials and gen Zers who do not regularly vote in state elections will now do so. This is a unknown, but it is safe to say that the percentage will increase.
vs.
Religious right who vote regularly and want abortion banned.
What are they going to vote for? Sanctioned murder isn't really a platform. Nothing changes in blue states. Women in red states want it banned.
And if a woman in a red state wants an abortion she can just go to California or New York where abortion on demand will almost certainly be legal.

Those states are solidly red and a large percentage of women don’t even support abortion. I’m sure they have nothing to worry about but we’ll see in 5 months which btw is a looooong time for the issue to die down. In the meantime everyone will continue to suffer from Diaper Joes failed economic policies. Abortion is going to be very low on peoples priority lists

Blame the constitution, according to the constitution it’s a state issue. It never should have been a federal issue from the beginning. All the court did was reverse an illegitimate decision.
