Yeah, yeah, yeah ... I know we hate regulation, but this just makes too much sense ...

USB-C is also universal in that it can fit either up or down which is fantastic. No need to worry if you're plugging it in the right way or not. I'm all for advancement in tech. This will also force Apple to conform as well and we know how they love making signature cords to make backwards compatibility obsolete.

Unfortunately this one law won't stop that ridiculous practice by Apple.

Theres also the right-to-repair bill in the US which is a bigger problem for Apple when it really gets going
