Tennessee is being stupid legalize Marijauna and fight your opioid crisis

Legalize Marijuana for recreational use, and fight your opioid crisis, illegal drug use crisis, underage vaping crisis, unhealthy drinking, Alcohol-induced violence Instead of getting low-grade T.H.C. for medical use, that was like something you should have done decades ago. What you think the people doing harder drugs would just get Marijuana, if they wanted it when harder un-pure drugs are cheaper and Pills are easier to get a hold of, since Tennessee, has the here are some pills they don't do anything for you except mask the symptoms, and get you to the time you can get more pills.

reply

That might make sense if it was punctuated.

reply

Not one period.

Maybe OP is pregnant?

reply

But hey! There is one totally random comma, lol.

reply

fixed

reply

Agreed to all of the above. Nice run-on sentence by the way. Yes, all states should legalize recreational and medical weed. It's worked out great here in MA. No more paranoia. Freedom!

reply

Yay for drug addicts!!

reply

prude.

reply

Yeah, I'm a prude because I like to be in full possession of my faculties.

Enjoy being IMPAIRED (doesn't the word give you a hint??).

reply

I smoke weed all the time, all while being in full possession of my faculties. It's great!

reply

Keep telling yourself that. Science says differently.

reply

Is that so? Is the science clear on this? I don't feel like it is. Are there any monied interests who might have a stake in seeing to it that cannabis remains illegal? Did you pay any attention to who funded those studies? Many studies are inconclusive on this issue, like one you tried to throw at me once before without reading first. And, of course, I also have my own experience to compare. I know you're very consistent on this issue, so I know you hold the same contempt for nicotine users, coffee drinkers, Tylenol fiends, and the like.

reply

If you don't think drugs and alcohol impair, further conversation is pointless.

reply

I know alcohol impairs, that is evident and obvious. THC impairs on the same level as nicotine, caffeine, and aspirin, not at all.

reply

[deleted]

Are the studies on alcohol impairment inconclusive? No? I've even seen studies that show a marked but subtle IMPROVEMENT of "the faculties" while on THC. Where is that data? You can bet it's being buried.

reply

We'll just have to agree to disagree. Weed definitely impaired me and people I know, act quite impaired when they're stoned.

reply

I'll just agree that you're wrong.

reply

I'll just agree that you're trying to justify being a drug addict.

reply

You're clearly a little puritanical nitwit. I don't use drugs at all. I've never used cocaine, heroin, crack, meth, speed, etc, like at all, ever. I did experiment with LSD 30 years ago in my early 20's, something I think most people in their 20's should try. You clearly neglected to do so.

reply

I smoke weed all the time

You do use drugs. Weed is considered a drug the WORLD over. If saying it's not a drug makes you feel better, then keep telling yourself that.

I did try plenty of drugs when I was young and I'll say it again: NOTHING comes close to being drug and alcohol free, but hey, smoke yourself into oblivion. Doesn't matter to me.

reply

I guess so dude. In the same way that cigarette smokers, Coffee drinkers, folks who take ibuprofen for headaches, I guess I’m a drug user too.

reply

Its really not fair to label everyone who uses cannabis a drug addict. That's like calling someone who drinks a few beers an alcoholic. I know you're straight edge and that's fine, but you are aware people can use these substances responsibly, right?

reply

Depends on your definition of responsible. The world would be a better place without "recreational" drugs and alcohol (I'm not referring to medicinal). I've said before, I like people less (if I can tolerate them at all) when they're high.

That said, I'm not an outspoken crusader when I'm out, also most people don't even notice that I'm not drinking or anything else. If someone offers anything to me, I don't say I don't drink or whatever. I just say "no thanks" and leave it at that. I just generally avoid intoxicated people and talk to others. I have "done" plenty of substances, myself but I love the unimpaired life SO much more.

reply

Responsible as in it doesn't get in the way of their responsibilities or affect themselves or others negatively. If someone is working full time and has a drink or smokes some weed when they get home or with a group of friends/family, I see nothing wrong with that.

reply

I can appreciate people abstaining as long as they don't get preachy. I had a buddy who went straight for about 6 months, and he definitely got high and mighty for someone I'd run lines of coke with a year earlier. I don't drink much anymore or do anything besides smoke legal marijuana, but I'm fine with people doing whatever, as long as they don't become assholes. I'd also like to point out that partaking in alcohol and marijuana can be subtle, and doesn't necessarily always reach a point of impaired.

reply

I'd rather have Tennessee full of potheads, instead of Tweakers and Meth heads

reply

I fainted trying to read your whole paragraph. I wish I had as large a lung capacity as yours.

reply

Marijuana only goes so far. Tell that to a heroin addict.

reply

that's true

reply

True, the law would have to be in effect for years, to make a noticeable difference.

reply

A little Punctuation would help here !
