Edit: Did some research and it seems to be a Bipartisan group of Senators perfectly content to fuck over middle and low income earners. Blame members of both parties for this one.

Republicans love taxes that disproportionately hit working people. Almost as much as they love to lie and say Democrats are doing all the bad things that Republicans are actually doing - like cheating in elections.
It helps so poor and middle class will stop driving ICE vehicles. Those things should be a luxury for the rich, just like meat. Now all we need is to raise the price of meat so poor and middle class can only afford veggies. CLIMATE CHANGE SOLVED!! WOOO HOOO!! Now only the elite class can enjoy them. Back to the old days.
