Victoria's Secret commits corporate suicide!

The new CEO must be gay as well as stupid. Company had revenue of $7 billion in 2019. Was dropping slowly, will plummet now.

Victoria's Secret has done away with their world-famous Angels supermodels.

The lingerie and comfort wear company has said goodbye to the models, who have for years, famously strutted down the runway wearing over-the-top ensembles featuring feathers and rhinestones that weighed in at nearly 30 pounds, the New York Times reports.

In their place, Victoria's Secret has launched a campaign with high-profile women known for their accomplishments rather than their figures.

Soccer star Megan Rapinoe, freestyle skier Eileen Gu, model and advocate Paloma Essler, actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas, transgender model Valentina Sampaio, model and South Sudanese refugee Adut Akech and photographer Amanda de Cadenet are among those to spearhead the campaign, according to the outlet.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Megan Rapinoe and Eileen Gu are among to women to join the VS Collective.

Everyone in big fashion is gay and lesbian. Hence why the models always look like 12yo boys.

reply

That doesn't make any sense.

Let's face it, Americans are obese and unhealthy. VS has to sell their products to someone.

Best of luck with that Victoria’s Secret! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

Yeah, when I think of Victoria’s Secret I think of Megan Rapinoe, her shitty purple hair, and everything she constantly bitches about 24/7. If that’s the “new” beautiful…I’m done.

Do women really have self esteem so low that these companies feel they now have to ban models who are actually attractive? Jesus Christ, the human race is circling the drain in a new way each and every day.

reply

Most average Americans don't look at accomplishments of females but of their sexual appeal (you even see that on the boards here where many judge female actors by looks). Human nature to find the best mate before attempts of courtship. Now VS will bore the people out, oh well, it is what it is and eventually the profit margin will drive what's more in demand. Same thing happened with Playboy before they went back to showing smut.

When I think of Victoria Secret I think of them as selling a product in lingerie that may help women feel beautiful and feminine. Yes not every woman looks like a Victoria Secret model but any type of campaign that goes against their business model will only hurt them with their bottom line.

reply

If Victoria Secret does not want the models I’ll take them.
