I was listening to Rush in 1992, but I don't remember his stance on Perot, but I'm guessing he attacked him regularly "throwing your vote away," etc. OTOH IIRC Bush was clearly not going to win several months in advance... maybe even a whole year... there had been a special election for a Senator (1991? Pennsylvania?) and the Republican got trounced...
