QAnon Shaman now claiming he was duped by Trump

The lawyer for the so-called "QAnon Shaman" who stormed the U.S. Capitol shirtless and wearing a horned bearskin headdress said his client regrets being "duped" by former President Donald Trump, and that the former president "invited" his client and thousands of other supporters to the Capitol on Jan. 6.

Albert Watkins, the attorney for Jacob Anthony Chansley, did not immediately respond to Fox News' request for comment Saturday but told KSDK-TV that his client "regrets very, very much having not just been duped by the President, but by being in a position where he allowed that duping to put him in a position to make decisions he should not have made."

Trump refusing to pardon the rioters could prove to be a serious mistake if they all "deprogram" and claim they did it solely because of Trump's lies.

This raises a lot of questions. If they did it to protect America from what Trump repeatedly said was an attack against their livelihood, I could see many of them getting a pass. And if it the law does give them a pass for buying into the ex-president's lies, that means the ex-president is the one guilty of the insurrection.

That would be fantastic. Almost perfect. I still think there were far more Qanon freaks storming the capitol than any other terrorist's group.

I know I joke about my brother and his AK 47's. But he's far from a racist group but intertwined into Qanon (he lost his mind decades ago).

It's a very serious illness. Mental illness that is.

And he does own ak47's, still thinks there's a secret pedophile ring, still thinks about martial law and war with China.

Still believes Rita Wilson's husband and rapes, kills and then eats children on an island.

WHY DOES HE BELIEVE THAT???

It sounds like your brother believes it because of mental illness.

But that's not why Trumpists believe it. They believe it because they are among the 25% who crave an authoritarian leader who will bring them the Handmaid's Tale version of reality.

I mean the FBI has obviously infiltered the boards and closely monitoring.
