Biden starts first day threatening his staff with being "fired on the spot"

If he finds then disrespecting one another, he'll fire them, "on the spot." He said this during what is normally a celebratory event, the swearing in of the new staff.

Is he taking leadership cues from the Chinese Communist Party?

Maybe his staff will refer to him as "Beijing Biden" if he employs this managerial style.

Plenty of employers won't tolerate people being disrespectful or taking an abusive tone with their coworkers. How is this any different? Biden wants no part of the infighting and power games that went on in the Trump White House. He's simply making that clear up front, he won't put up with it.

Threats aren't a good way to lead.

So when my company tells employees there's a zero tolerance policy on sexual harassment, and they could face immediate termination, that's a poor way to lead?

Don't be so damn eager to pounce and start bashing that you won't even wait for Biden to do stuff first. This is a pretty damn weak criticism. Give him a chance to announce some policy initiatives and propose some legislation. The term is still young!

It’s a bullshit way to start. Let the head of HR issue warnings. Workers work better for people who treat them with respect, not destain.

I disagree. The boss needs to make it clear to the employees what's expected of them. I doubt Biden was a dick about it, the way Trump would've been. And I believe you're referring to the Chief of Staff - there's no HR department at the White House, the closest thing they've got is the Office of Presidential Personnel which oversees vetting of Presidential appointments.

The moment was caught on tape. Please search it.

threatening your staff on day 1 is not a good way to start, Xi Jinping probably ordered this...

Gotta hand it to President Asterisk... at least he waited till he won to call half the country bad people.

In 1 day, he's already put 100,000+ people out of work by ending the keystone pipeline.
