shareWasn't the whole "alt-" thing a news feed message board left over from the late 80s when mostly computer science folks used Netscape to read news feeds? It was purely text based. I remember using it once in the 90s but the messages were endless and it was very boring. Closest thing we have to it now is Reddit without the voting.
