The Politics board on IMDb2 is much better. Sadly, I am unable to login into the discussion page despite registering so all I can do is lurk, which is maybe just as well. People actually type complete paragraphs and sentences on there.. even the Trumpers:

I agree because even if I post a serious topic here it gets ignored. All people seem to do here is name call.

That's a weird site. Unless I'm not using it right, you can't enter a specific film and call up a chat board devoted to discussing that movie. The website layout is very cluttered and, well, ugly. Maybe it's good for politics, I don't know (or care), but it's nothing like the old IMDB (of course things could get pretty ugly on the old IMDB too!) I prefer moviechat.

Have you tried using a different browser and/or email? Erasing your browser history?
Unless that's going to make each film, actor, director, key grip have its own dedicated message forum, I don't think that's going to solve his particular problem.
shareYeah I'm technically here just to chat about movies as I used to do on IMDB but since there is a certain level of celebration in the air stirring I thought I'd add to the politics board. I think they only opened this to keep it out of other boards since the right wingers destroyed IMDB message boards over a movie they couldn't tolerate. I am Not Your N I think it was. Basically they were there to demand that we all really are their slaves.

I think it is because people who have enough money work very hard to undermine political
discussion so that the lack of political discussion leads to a defocusing of the average citizen
so they are politically powerless and the system can be manipulated for a marginal amount
of emotional manipulation within the media.
The only ones who have the power to do that are not Democrats, or Antifa, or Black Lives Matter,
Gays, Transexuals, Christians or any other group distraction from real national and international
issues, it is the people who have big businesses, empires and believe that gives them the right
to own everything, socially, economically, environmentally or militarily. These things are not in
the hands of people being operated for the good of the people almost anywhere, they are interest
whose primary concern is political cancer, to gain control, everything other than that goal is
secondary and local and national governments are manipulated to that end, right down to the
chat board level, because with all this technology and all that money - they have the means to
do that.
Yeah, I don't know why people still have certain bank's credit cards either.

This board is cool because there is an IGNORE button. I think it's great that I can ignore the posts of jerks BUT the jerks can still see my posts and respond with abuse. I've only ignored one jerk who called me names without adding anything to the conversation.
Hoopleheads and yahoos abound on these boards.
