Why are blacks the winning deciders for the Democratic party?

Only 13% of the population yet seems to be the most important demographic in winning elections. It seems they're all situated in number in swing states and some of the southern states. Just weird if you think about it. Any reasons why? Was it because of gerrymandering or something else? The left always talk about without the black vote they could never win or stuff like that.

Hispanics are 18% of the demographic as well but most of the right leaning ones seems to be only situated in Florida.

Maybe the GOP needs a rebranding of sort so it isn't so heavily white. Expand on conservatism in general and rule of law or something. The White demographic is shrinking by the years and if they only hold onto whites for votes they're going to just keep on losing the elections going forward. What you want are followers of an ideology and not of just a race based one.

You'll have to dig deeper.

Why are there blacks in most advertisements? I think they're used as signalling, like "look how diverse or accepting we are."

Are they though the deciding voters? Not refuting just curious. I think if America does become more Hispanic\Latino the Dems might be in trouble as those folks have left Socialist countries and are also more conservative in their values. I also think it's a mistake to think all AA's are Democrat leaning.

Well, the left or MSM always talk of the 'black' vote as the most important vote or if a certain state they win they'll chop it up to the black women vote or stuff like that. If you want more proof I suggest start watching msm and when these elections come up, look for them mentioning the black vote in important states or elections.

It's called using the media to give your former slaves an "atta boy!", without actually ever doing anything for them.

Trump did better with all voters than he did in 2016 except for.... white men...

reply

True. I think he played them well with the fear mongering tactic that drove many to the right. Socialism/communism/radical left rhetoric. He's the only one that I know of that's done this in recent times from Reagan and up.

A lot of white men must have voted for Jo Jorgensen.

13% of the population and 95% of the problem.

They were actually looking to do the rebranding thing before Trump. Now, white identity politics is the main feature of the GOP platform.

To answer your question, just look at election results and how the numbers went. The Dems won Georgia in the general and the special election due in part to massive black voter turnouts.
