Biden would raise taxes on the middle class and crush small business owners who employ most Americans.

He's vowing to repeal "all" the Trump tax cut. The Trump tax cut slashed taxes across the board, including for the middle class, did a long overdue switch from global to territorial tax scheme like other nations use that has encouraged massive corporate repatriation of revenue (boosting the economy until covid hit, and leading a faster than predicted recovery now), made the US competitive by lowering the corporate rate from the planet's highest to something more in line with other nations', and streamlined the previously overly complicated tax code by eliminating most deductions ("loopholes"), reducing the chances of certain individuals or corporations getting away with paying little or no taxes, which Democrats ironically pretend to care about when going after issues like Trump's personal tax returns filed under their old system (the bad one Biden is vowing to return to).

Even if you accept Biden's laughably dishonest pledge not to raise taxes on those earning less than 400k at face value, that still means big tax hikes on the small businesses who employ most Americans, those companies filing taxes as individuals rather than corporations and creating revenue in the several hundred thousand dollar or more range, creating the illusion of the owners being "rich".

The truth is that there's no way to pay for the trillions the Green New Deal and other Democrat programs would cost without a massive tax hike on the middle class, something even some relatively honest leftists have admitted.
