President Trump gets a series of Arab/Muslim nations to recognize Israel; laying foundation for long term Mid East peace

After decades of failure in the region, Trump broke with past presidents of both parties in a number of ways with strong, decisive moves. He recognized Jerusalem as Israel's capital, taking that sticking point off the table as an issue. He rallied Muslim leaders to more overtly fight Islamist terrorism and ideology, to which many of them have responded. His strong support of Israel, a big contrast with the Obama/Biden regime, gave Netanyahu confidence to finally support a two-state solution.

The president also shifted the focus from dealing with the "Palestinian" Liberation Authority to cultivating better relations between Israel and the surrounding Arab nations. There's more fertile ground for progress with the latter than the PLA, which is basically a terrorist organization. The Arab nations are more acutely focused on shared interests with Israel, especially the threat from Iran, which Trump has also highlighted in successfully re-isolating that nation.

By changing the facts on the ground across the broader region, President Trump has done more to lay the foundation for real Middle East peace than any other leader in modern history.
