What that means is their agenda has nothing to with black lives but changing the status quo to Marxist leanings - in other words disabling capitalism which has caused the U.S. and may other countries to thrive, and instead change to one that has proven time and time again to simply not work.
It sounds like you don't understand what Marxism is since you shrugged at it so easily.
Marxism is a belief that that society should have no classes. It might seem great in theory to the naive, but it doesn't work. Power corrupts. Those in power will still be a different, better class. You think Stalin lived in a hut and sowed the fields? Or any of his generals? Or some of those running companies in a Marxist society? No, what Marxism does is crush the middle class, give the 10% even more power, and the rest of society waits in line for bread and is forced into jobs they don't want. You want to be a doctor? Nope - go work on an assembly line. You want to own your own house? Nope - there is no private ownership. If you have any money it's not yours anymore but the collective. Then the government has all the control and you'll see them force their will on you and there is nothing you can do about it.
Go look at videos of the Berlin wall falling down and see how many East Berliners were trampling over each other to get to the other side.

Marxists fight for communism, which is equality. But these Marxists are not calling for economic communism. They specifically describe themselves as cultural Marxists because they want all people of all colors to be treated equally by the law.
The disagreement between the right and left is not on whether racial equality should exist. The right's perception is that racial communism has already been obtained. And the left's perception is that work still needs to be done. And so anyone who is working to achieve it is rightfully called a Marxist.
In fact, the ONLY instance where Marxism is bad is personal wealth. One should not FIGHT to take something that does not belong to them. However, the vast majority of us agree that fighting for equal rights is not fighting for something that doesn't belong to you. It's fighting for something you should already have, but for whatever reason, you don't.
Define it however you want - you can call it a potato or you can call it a potatoe. Both make french fries. There are a ton of factions and big words you can toss around with different definitions, like progressive democrat and Marxist democrat and social democracy. Like those, egalitarianism is the dream and Marxism is the reality of that dream. (I assume there is a reason they are calling themselves Marxists and not Egalitarians?)
Who is this vast majority? Are you referring to BLM supporters? I guarantee 90% of BLM protestors have no idea they are working for Marxists.
Look, I am all for people protesting if they know what they are protesting for. Some are protesting cop violence, some are protesting the establishment, and some are protesting just to rape, pillage, and cause chaos. What's the end game for this? It depends on which protester you ask. That's a massive, massive problem and spirals down to nothing.
I am not just defining it though. I am explaining everything they stand for and how it applies to Marxism. Marxists are people who fight for equality. You can define it as egalitarianism, but Marxism has an extra connotation of someone who is actively fighting.
If you agree with what they believe in, but do not accept that they fight for it, then fine. But we both know that's not going to get you very far in a debate that all Marxism is inherently wrong.

Instead focus on what they say they want to achieve. Because chances are any label can apply to anything.
Labels are a right-wing shortcut to controlling the conversation, so I understand why it's done. People are just dumb. We even hear Trumpers say 'ZOMG Socialism!' with regard to Biden. It's pure silliness out there.

I don't think it's silly to label a movement because every movement has to have a theme. Both sides do it equally - in fact I'd say liberals go overboard labeling their different groups so much I can't keep up with the acronyms.
Ignore that - so what do, for lack of a better word, 'cultural Marxists', or 'they' as you want to call them, hope to achieve? What is the end goal? If you're not a Marxist then the name 'Marxist' shouldn't be your name, right? I'm a cow so I'm not going to call myself a chicken.
Going a step further, what does cultural Marxism have to do with Black Lives Matter, which is supposed to be a movement about police brutality? My initial thought is it's using a sensitive topic like racism to hide an agenda and deception to mask a larger movement.
Everything I wrote above has to do with the question "why don't you support Black Lives Matter." I support organized efforts for change. I support protesting peacefully. If I don't like what is going on I can vote against it. You can vote against it. I don't support torching towns, ripping up statues you decide you don't like, and taking over entire city blocks for some occupation protest and self-declared autonomous zone that ended up causing serious damage, arson, murder, rape, and endangers people's lives.
