Matilda???!!!!

Since you ignored my post about what Fauci said about schools reopening, I have another tidbit to share with you.

Looks like Sen. Chucky Schumer is finally catching up to Trump in his thoughts too!

But I'm curious, now that the "experts" like Fauci (and now The Joker) is advocating for schools to reopen, are you changing your mind on schools reopening?

I think the Democrats are starting to see that Americans are getting fed up. Now they're acting like it's their idea to want to reopen stuff and get the economy going. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

reply

Schools and businesses would've never had to close if Trump hadn't listened to Kushner. Kushner convinced Trump that the pandemic would only affect blue states. That was the reasoning for all of Trump's pushback against the media coverage of it and masks.

In Trump's mind, California and New York being hit hard by a pandemic would've helped his re-election. Because of his massive ignorance, the whole country had to shut down.

reply

DEFLECTION! (Your favorite word).

Are you Matilda's sock?

reply

Wait, I thought that was Keelai's favorite word along with labeling you something for reporting on something.

reply

You're right! That is Keelai's favorite although most of the left uses it from time to time.

UV and I had a back and forth on another thread within that recent time span where s/he kept using "distraction."

reply

In case you missed it from the General Discussion board...Matilda attempted not to be Matilda! Her OP!😅😂🤣 Didn’t work for those who know her!🤷🏼‍♀️

I now understand why people stay away from politicsI've never paid much attention to it before this year. Every election, I do my part by voting but that's about it.

”Thus year, I finally understand why many people hate politics. It's toxic and nobody wins.

Wait...there’s more! I had to put on my boots...the 💩 was so deep!

NotoriousRio
Check out the politics forum, I dare ya! 😆

Matildawormwood
Oh I did. I think I lost like 52 brain cells from just reading that crap lol

[email protected]
Oh gosh Matilda, that's 52 out of the remaining 65 you have left! Be careful! LOL

Then the most priceless!

Having personal views is one thing. But there's usually a lack of common sense in people's arguments. Several political views I hear contain selfish and silly reasons.

😱 OMGosh, Matilda! Talk about the pot calling the kettle black! Your fake facade here is a hoot! 🙇🏼‍♀️

If you're so desperate for your kid's school district to reopen, don't go screaming and crying when you or them are rushed to the ICU beds b/c they bought covid home with them.

Don't start screaming and throwing tantrums b/c your state or county suddenly has to go on lockdown again b/c your district was dumb enough to reopen schools which caused covid to spike.

Covid doesn't distriminate. It doesn't care how old someone is. It'll attack anyone it wants. If your kid is lucky enough to have a mild case or , like many young folks are, they can still spread it to at-risk folks just as good as adults.

reply

My kids can work but can't go to school, huh? So now you DO disagree with the "experts!"

"distriminate"
You're showing your ignorance again, teacher. 🍎
Discriminate. Oh but haven't you heard? The virus DOES discriminate! If you riot, loot, kill, abort babies, buy liquor, go shopping, there's no chance of getting COVID. However, if you go to church, the dentist, a Trump rally, the beach, a gym, protest in favor of police, a wedding, a funeral, school, vote, you are sure to get COVID!

WAKE UP!

reply

One question...how do you “distriminate”? And what is it you’re attempting to “untrim”? All this time it was my impression when you trim something it’s trimmed, akin to trimming hair. So, correct me if I’m in error...you can actually untrim hair...attach it back? Well, golly gee! 😱 What they say is apparently true...you do learn something everyday!

reply

Kspkap:

You, pjpurple, and Norma are part of the reason why I made that "politics is toxic" post. I've read numerous posts for you guys arguing with several members on this board, not just me.

Anyone refering to Democrats as "liberals", "sheeps", and "snowflakes" are just as hypocritical and stupid as they claim others are, and have no right to feel butthurt over my "insults".

Reading posts from Trump lovers, anti-mask wearers, or anyone who says that covid is fake makes me feel like I'm losing brain cells. Only stupid people would do or say those things.

reply

LOL Again with the "losing brain cells". And again, I agree. You had a limited number to start with, so be careful.

It was good that you put your "insults" in quotes. They are about as effective as a grasshopper kicking an elephant in the knee.

But seriously, to argue politics or any other touchy subject is not inherently bad or 'toxic". Arguing is not the same as fighting or name calling. Unfortunately the left leaners around here confuse those three things. Argumentation is an actual subject. It is critical thinking and critical debating.

I have yet to see you post anything without one of your childish insults, e.g., Trumptard, fat orange clown, etc, and my personal new favorite of yours "retarted". If you want to call someone retarded, at least learn how to spell it!

And, uh, the plural of sheep IS sheep, not "sheeps". When will you stop making yourself such an easy target?? LOL

reply

Thanks a whole heck of a lot!🙇🏼‍♀️ I just spit out my coffee! “retarted”! And I suppose “sheeps” would be like “mices”. Thar shor is a passel of sheeps in that there field over yonder! And them mices shor nuff drivin me ta drink!

reply

Sorry, don't drink and read! LOL

Matilda's clever way with the language reminds me of something I read when I was a kid.

A boy wrote to a company to order a pair of mongoose. He wasn't sure how to spell it. He tried mongooses, mongeese, etc.
So he finally wrote, "Please send me a mongoose. And while you're at it, please send me another."

I've never called anyone here a snowflake. I've seen the term used over and over. It's so unimaginative at this point.

Anyway, snowflakes are pretty and have unique designs. I have no particular animus against them except when 500 trillion fall on my driveway and I have to shovel them!

I put the far left's comments as more like chicken droppings. They are all the same, ALL OVER and messy and you tend to step in them if you don't watch out!

reply

As to what you read when you were a kid, the boy definitely played it safe...while being comical.

I also have never called anyone snowflake which is a pejorative term libs like to lob at conservatives. The main reason I wouldn’t refer to libs as snowflakes...snowflakes are too pretty! ❄️❄️❄️❄️ 🤷🏼‍♀️

reply

Id rather be called a "lib" or a "sheep" than a red neck.

I would never embarrass myself by showing loyalty to that fat obese clown. (That's right! I called him a name. Cry about that lol).

reply

At least a red neck works! You are aware of how the term “red neck” became part of our lexicon.

reply

It's funny how lib became a dirty word to them. Libs are what started the republican party. At first they were the liberty party, then became the free soil party, then finally the republican party.

Repubs will cheer Abraham Lincoln all day for being a republican, but will then shit all over the ideology that began the party.

reply

The day YOU and other Trump butt lickers in the world stop making yourselves easy targets, I'll stop doing it too.

-I call them "butt lickers" because they do or say anything to defend him, please him, or kiss his butt. He could literally kidnap or sexually molest a 2-year-old and his supporters will still defend and denying everything by calling it "fake news". They're so gullible it's actually quite hilarious. They make me laugh until my stomach hurts.

Again, you're proving yourself to be a helpless little cry baby. You get offended at names not even directed at you. Why the hell do you care what I call Trump? I bet you were one of those kids in middle school who screamed and cried every time someone called you a "dork", "ugly", or "nerd", etc.

Im sure glad I don't know you personally. I feel sorry for anyone who lives with you, works with you, or has been taught my you. Anything associated with you is toxic. Your former students would've been better being taught by Squidward than by you.

reply

As per Matilda in a prior post:

”Having personal views is one thing. But there's usually a lack of common sense in people's arguments. Several political views I hear contain selfish and silly reasons.”

reply

kspkap--"...a lack of common sense in people's arguments."

Matilda- the poster girl for THAT statement! LOL

reply

Oh little baby Matilda, why do YOU care if I point out that you constantly stoop to name calling insults to make your incoherent arguments?

I pointed it out to make the POINT (although it's not nearly as sharp as the one on your head) that you have no rational argument of any substance. Kiddie playground name calling is ALL you have.
I'm not offended by your name calling. I am just pointing out the big hypocrisy that you display.

I'm am sure the President can take care of himself and he has dealt with bigger dummies and more hostile opponents than the likes of you.

According to you, I was called dork, ugly or nerd in school? Oooh snap! What a burn. I'm sure you had to put on your thinking cap (however you manage to fit it over your pointy head) for THAT oh-so-clever comeback!

And Squidward! LOL Comparing me to a cartoon character! Ha ha My niece and nephew watched SpongeBob when they were little. I never saw the show because, well, being an adult and all that...
But you have to limit your insults to cartoon characters? Too funny. Well that seems to be your speed.

Your posts are full of juvenile, idiotic insults. But I'm sure Biden is happy for support from people like you. He doesn't have to do or say anything intelligent to impress you, obviously!

reply

oh please. I find it hard to believe that you act like an adult in real life. Your posts have said it all. You're an insecure little girl who complains over the stupidest things ever.

Correcting people's spelling is all you have going for you. Like I said, Trump supporters will never ever be superior. They will always be at the bottom. They can insult Biden and Obama all they want but, they know they will always be a laughing stock throughout society.

reply

I don't really care what you "believe". I merely point out that you use constant childish responses and playground level name calling as a way to "win" arguments.

I don't correct "people's spelling", I correct yours! You persist in calling people "retarted" but can't spell it correctly! If the irony is lost on you, well that's not MY fault. You say you are a teacher, but as I said before, I wouldn't trust you to teach the sit/stay command to a poodle.

However I might trust you to litter train a cat because you do know your way around sh#t! You talk it all the time.

Who said Trump supporters are "superior"? I never read one Trump supporter's post on this site who made such a claim. Perhaps that is just coming from your own inferiority complex.

I also suggest that you look up the word underdog! It has several meanings.

Good God! Trying to have a rational, adult exchange with you is like having a discussion with a rock, except most rocks are smarter!

reply

I don't insult and call everyone names. Just Trump b/c he's the worst president ever, his supporters b/c they act like morons, and people like you and Norma who bitch at numerous people for basically no reason.

I wouldn't trust YOU to teach my kids either. Teaching requires people skills. Which you clearly don't have. I've said this before and I'll say it again.......you did your school a HUGE favor by quitting that job!

If having an adult exchange with someone means bitching and whining then yes, you're an expert at adult conversations.
Your behavior on this board is everything BUT mature.

reply

It is amazing how you constantly ascribe your worst traits to someone else. All YOU do is whine, name call, b$tch and moan.

And what is with the b/c all the time? It's not a real abbreviation for because. Are you too lazy to type out an additional word or is it because you have trouble spelling it?

I wouldn't want to teach your kids either! No doubt they'd run crying to you if I corrected THEIR spelling and you'd complain that it was a "big turn off" as you did in another post. Teaching requires correcting mistakes and people like you don't think they make ANY!

Grammar alert! "Which you don't have" is not a complete sentence. It's a sentence fragment. Woe to any students who have to listen to YOUR English lessons!

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that in the real world where you get paid for doing your job that perhaps you conduct yourself like an adult. Maybe in real life you are different.

But here under the cloak of anonymity as a poster you display ZERO people skills! You hide behind a fake name and post insults and try to bully people. In the real world bullies usually get their a@@es kicked. I doubt you attempt such behavior as you no doubt fear a real "butthurt". LOL

reply

Kinda funny I’ve never been in the general discussion. Just here and the usual movie posts.

I believe schools and businesses are opening when schools and businesses start opening. It’s like trying to indict anyone in the deep state or democrat party.

reply

Funny how that idiot democrap lemming chose that name. Matilda in the Roald Dahl book was a genius, and would never allow herself to be turned into a parrot for the media. A pity this idjit chose to be just another NPC like uv, mm, k the liar, and the others.

I noticed the whole lot of them have been screeching more and more for the past few weeks about how "bad" Trump has been. You think they're getting scared because of the election 2 months away? Foul winds tend to blow harder right before their storm loses power.

reply

No American Girl.
Btw, that username is a disgrace to you since American Girl dolls are cute, adorable, and lovable.

But anyways....we blue states have been hating Trump since 2015 (the year before he got elected). Everything that comes out of his mouth is trash. He's weak and unintelligent. Anyone who supporters him is gullible and naive about the world.

reply

It's funny, AmeriGirl26- Matilda has come to the conclusion that you're NOT "cute, adorable, and lovable". She sees so MUCH through her computer screen! LOL

I must admit, I saw your user name many times and I never associated it with a toy or a doll. But that's the way Matilda's mind works. She compared me to Squidward. Cartoons and dollies, that's her speed!

reply

I think I mentioned somewhere that part of my inspiration for my username was American Girl Dolls, and, contrary to what wormwood says, many people (usually not on this site) have called me "cute" and "adorable" :).

reply

Just to refresh everyone’s mind...and to add some levity to this discussion, I deemed this would be apropos now.😅😂🤣

As per Matilda’s prior post:

”Having personal views is one thing. But there's usually a lack of common sense in people's arguments. Several political views I hear contain selfish and silly reasons.”

I could have used the word jocular in place of levity, but poor Matilda would probably think I was referring to a jock strap!😱🙄

Edit: Corrected a typo from appropo to apropos...in a hurry!🙇🏼‍♀️

reply

I have 3 questions for the OP.

1. Do you believe Trump is a hypocrite since Barron is staying home instead of learning in a school?

2. Six students and three teachers tested positive after a Georgia school failed to have everyone wear masks and social distance. What is your plan to keep these children safe?

3. Do you have school-aged children or are you brave re: other people's kids?

reply

Great post. It’s time to send Barron back to school!

reply

Welllllll....regarding Barron...if Trump sent him back to school, folks like you would be screeching to the rafters that Trump "doesn't care about his kid", since Trump doesn't wear a mask obviously "Barron will carry the virus to school", "Trump hates children, he's a rotten father."

Sweet Jesus, just admit the fact that in your eyes Trump can do nothing right!

If the topic is hypocrisy, then answer this. Many leaders are ALL in favor of pubic schools. Yet those who endorsed it, like Bill Clinton and Al Gore, sent their OWN kids to fancy private schools.

The last President who wasn't a hypocrite in that regard was Carter. He sent Amy to a public school.

2. Don't know the OP's plan.

3. I don't have school aged kids now. But I used to home school my son after I saw what a crap education he was getting in the government run, public school system. So the point would be moot for me.
Our local schools have all sorts of plans in the works. One school has primary grades going back 5 days a week, older students will have 2 days at home on-line, 3 in school. There are a number of plans. School boards seem to be running around like the Keystone Kops.

All I'm sure of is the level of corruption and incompetence in the local school boards. There's never any money for new (or even enough) textbooks. But there's always funding for new turf for the football stadium or a new swimming pool or a top heavy Administration.

When I went to school we had a Principal and a Vice Principal, period. Now there is Assistant Principal, assistant to the Assistant, Curriculum Co-Ordinator, etc.
This COVID may oddly be a blessing in disguise because it has really opened our local citizenship's eyes to the fact that our school boards couldn't find their a@@es with both hands and a flashlight. They are useless.

reply

"folks like you would be ..."

You don't know me. Stop stereotyping me based on your own prejudices.

1. Your argument about public vs private schools is a false equivalency. Trump said children should PHYSICALLY return to schools, therefore his child should, too.

3. My comment wasn't about the quality of a public school education although I don't disagree. My comment was about the important responsibility of keeping children and faculty safe in schools during a pandemic.

This is unacceptable. This principal needs to be fired.

reply

How am I stereotyping you? And by the way, you DON'T base your comments on your own prejudices?

Gosh, I never noticed how "openminded' you are. LOL

My comments about public vs. private school had nothing to do with the original question. I was pointing out hypocrisy. But again, ya missed the boat on that one.

I stated that if Trump sent his son to school, he'd be criticized for being a bad father. And so what if he says schools should open? He doesn't have the authority to force local school boards to do anything.

reply

It's common knowledge that Trump is a bad father.

"He doesn't have the authority to force local school boards to do anything."
Then he should keep his mouth shut.

"How am I stereotyping you? "

Answer:
"if Trump sent him back to school, folks like you would be screeching to the rafters that Trump "doesn't care about his kid", since Trump doesn't wear a mask obviously "Barron will carry the virus to school", "Trump hates children, he's a rotten father.""

You don't know me.

"My comments about public vs. private school had nothing to do with the original question. I was pointing out hypocrisy.'

That's not hypocrisy. I support home schooling, but I've never been involved in it. Most people don't have a problem with many educational options for children. Free public schools need to be supported since they are the only choice for the majority of parents. But, the quality of education should be higher since it's the key to a positive financial future.

reply

How is it common knowledge that Trump is a bad father? I've been reading posts about him since the old imdb board about what he does for his kids. Trump haters can't understand why he helps them. Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't.

Okay, so I said "folks like you", trying not to make it too personal. But can you blame me? No matter what Trump does, he's always "wrong"!

Last paragraph...fair enough. We seem to be close in our ideas about school. The quality of education needs to be higher.

But public schools are not "free". I live in a town that has many people who live in HUD approved housing. They have the most kids and yet they pay no school tax. Many people who are homeowners like myself pay the freight to send their kids to school.

I've heard a lot of grumbling from people who don't have kids and retirees whose kids are grown.

I'm not against paying for education. But clearly a lot of people are sick of paying for other peoples' kids.

And we're not even getting what we pay for. The schools are churning out functional illiterates.

reply

I don't expect you to have any common knowledge.

A good father doesn't bring his mistress on a family vacation with his wife and young children. It was a huge scandal at the time with his wife yelling at him in front of his mistress and three small children which lead to his first divorce. Most people were horrified that he would expose his young children to this. BTW, this incident is when I turned against him. I don't care if he cheated on Ivana, but don't traumatize your small children. I recently found out that Donald Jr didn't speak to his father for a year because of it.

Ivana said Trump had no interest in the children until they became adults. That's not a good father.

Everyone knows how he feels about Eric. He is verbally abusive toward his sons and neglects his youngest daughter and son. His father was the same so the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Trump sexually molest his own daughter, Ivanka and objectifies both daughters even Tiffany when she was a baby.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5K7sa7EeUGc

Not sure what your anti-public school stance has to do with risking children's lives during a pandemic.

reply

I agree with Keelai.

After what? 1 week of school, kids and staff were exposed. Not only are they exposed but now they're spreading it to their families, many of whom are elderly or high-risk. It's also bad for the pandemic as a whole. Our main goal should be to slow the spread as much as possible and have it under control. That's more important than being in school, even if kids fall academically behind, they'll be safe and so will their state.

The same people desperate to get back to normal are the same idiots making everything worse than it needs to be.
