This should answer you remarks... You're forgetting that during the early stages of the pandemic, we were dealing with an UNKNOWN China virus. Recommendations/Guidelines change as we learn more about it. Also I don't think Fauci is phony at all. He did the job he was paid to do. He never forced anyone to do anything outside his given recommendations, it's the governors and mayors that do that.

I saw that hearing before. I've addressed those comments too (not that I expect posters to memorize what I post). Instead of treating adults like Kindergarteners he should have just been honest. Maybe he felt he couldn't because people do what they want to do, not to mention the panic the media put into people.
In those early days I noticed at least one lady wearing a mask at the grocery store. But for all I know, she may have been in a situation like my neighbor who has been battling cancer so he's been wearing one since at least October.

It doesn't matter though. Fauci is supposed to be an expert. He's an expert at getting a lot of stuff wrong. Why should we listen to him? The CDC gave false information too and even lied to us. WHO, same thing.

Sure, in the beginning there were unknowns. But it's amazing how the so-called experts get a pass when they're wrong but if Trump says one word for or against anything he's crucified. A little forgiveness both ways would be nice but I know I'm asking for the impossible.

You're right though about the governors and mayors. I've noticed in especially the blue states they are going way overboard with their "power." It's gone to some of their heads including Lightfoot, Pritzker - and that stupid doctor, Allison Arwady who comes on TV with "Beetlejuice"...who says they're "deep in the planning" of putting forth a "mass vaccination campaign." They've already bought the syringes and they already know where it's gonna happen.

She can shove her mass vaccination up her @$$.

Did you see my OP about Dr. Simone Gold? She was fired for appearing in this video. But, the worse thing is her conclusions are being censored! The video has been removed. Somehow someone saved it. As far as Dr. Fauci, I don’t pay attention to him anymore! As noted he’s been behind a desk for 20 years. He’s changed his mind so much about what to do and not to do, he has everyone turning in circles. One guess who gets the blame! It ain’t Fauci!

Sad to hear Herman Cain died. Of course they had to note it due to Covid. Well, hell yes probably a contributing factor, but he had stage 3 cancer! Hello! Immune system shot! This is why I don’t believe we have, as listed, over 153,000 dead from Covid! A person can be admitted for having a stroke plus a heart attack. They are bedridden. Well guess what? Instead of pneumonia which usually follows...they list the COD...Covid 19! Hells Bells! The patient was going to die without the virus, but hey, mark another for Covid! It’s all political!

My dad was in ICU for 3 weeks. He succumbed to ARDS...Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome. If it was today they would lie and note he died from Covid 19! Folks, wake up and smell the coffee! You can’t shut a country down the way this one has been and expect it to recover if it continues! And, you Biden voters are in for a big shock if he wins. Nothing is going to change! Absolutely nothing, unless of course Covid miraculously disappears.😱

No I didn't see it yet. Today I've mostly only been on the same few threads (whenever I got the chance). I'll look for it. I did hear about that story though.

I know they're lying. It's been obvious to me almost from the beginning.

I heard about Herman Cain being sick with COVID in early July and heard the news of his death this morning. I didn't know he had cancer. May he Rest In Peace.

I wouldn't be shocked if in the future their go-to will be to shut down the country whenever it suits them. Give them an inch, they'll take it a mile. Don't let a crisis go to waste. 😉

Fauci has been a health specialists since before you were probably born. He's an expert! Everything he's said about covid turned out to be true.

He said it would get worse if we reopened too quickly and that's exactly what happened. You are in no position to call him a liar just because you're a Trump lover who bends over to kiss his fat orange butt.

Yes, I do have a teaching degree, and I know more about running a classroom than you for instance. Do I have seniority? No! Becuase I'm new to teaching, I barely started in 2018. But I've been around kids in a classroom since like 2012 holding other positions like tutoring, intervention, teachers assistant, etc.

Fauci graduated Cornell University Medical College in 1966, which was AFTER I was born.
Everything he said about COVID turned out to be true?! Really? Do you really want to go down that road?

Again, this has nothing to do with Trump.
Of course Fauci was going to say that. It doesn't mean a thing. All he does is guess. Sometimes he might be right. Just like a fortune teller.

So apparently they're giving teaching degrees to anyone these days. Why not? They don't care anymore if kids can spell, read, write (including cursive writing), add, subtract, etc.
The schools are purposely keeping kids from learning so they can indoctrinate. They obviously got to you. Fresh out of college! You should be at your best right now.
I'll give you a break. You're very young and have a lot to learn so there's hope.
I've been around kids too. I've raised them. I regularly went to their classrooms to help out (not sure if they do that kind of thing anymore).

Regardless of what you say, you know abosolutely NOTHING about my teaching skills and experience working with kids. NONE what's so ever.

Even before I got my degree, I've been a tutor and TA 6 years prior. I've also been a intervention aide for elementary kids who struggle with reading and writing! I've helped first and 2nd graders go from barely knowing their letter sounds and how to print, to reading and writing simple sentences.

Raising the kids in your household isn't the same as working with 25-30 kids in a classroom. Many of which have different ways of learning and come from different backgrounds. I've been a sub for a year and a half. I'd like to see you try running a classroom with kids that try to get away with things when the regular teacher is gone (almost never happens with me).

I'm surprised that someone born before 1966 can't understand that covid is 100% real and needs to be taken seriously.

I never said COVID wasn't real! THAT'S what you think I was getting at?! Of course I think it's real. But I can also believe we're being lied to about so many aspects of the virus and information we've been told.

In mid-March when everything was starting to shut down, I complied with everything asked of Americans. I would do a months worth of grocery shopping so I would rarely have to go out. I did the shopping for my elderly mother as well. I took every precaution imaginable. No one left the house unless they had work or do something important. We would shower and wash our clothes after being out. I didn't allow anyone else in our home.
After 2 weeks (which I knew it would go on much longer), I gave it another 2 weeks...and another 2 weeks. Once May came and more information was known AND SUPPRESSED INFORMATION WAS COMING TO LIGHT, I was DONE.
My mom had sheltered in place for 4 months before she came to visit. Now she comes over all the time. She hasn't gone to grocery stores or any public places except the bank twice. I'm willing to take care of her needs for her as much as possible.
I'm not being reckless about the virus but if grocery stores, liquor stores, restaurants, and so many other places can be open with guidelines in place, everything should be open. If you'll notice, the big companies never shut down. Nope. Just the small businesses, churches, some restaurants, salons, pet groomers and even dentists! Some have gotten in big trouble trying to reopen back up even though they were complying with guidelines. Any idea why this was/is going on? I know why.

Since you (and others here) are so dug in with your heels about listening to the experts and you trust Fauci, and I assume Redfield, Birx, etc., did you see any of the hearing today? I've only watched about an hour and a half but I plan on finishing the whole thing this weekend.

There's an interesting part where they talk about schools reopening and it also leads into the subject of child abuse going undetected with the schools shut down like myself, kspkap, pj, etc. have been trying to explain to you the past couple of days.

I think we're talking about the same ones. A poster here kept reporting that video too after I started a thread about it but people kept uploading it over and over.

When videos like theirs get taken down over and over, it speaks volumes that there's validity and are telling the truth--and that's what the left is scared to death of.

But, the more I read on this board I’ve noticed posters such as yourself never state anything with substance. You don’t see me ripping Biden to shreds, calling him names, etc. I post what HE says he’s going to do. I attempt to give facts without attacking him. I attempt to link objective web sites. Just this week he stated he was going to be the most progressive president this country has seen. All of us should be concerned over that statement.
