Former President Reagan's Vision vs Trump's Reality

Ronald Reagan spoke often of America as a shining city on a hill: a prosperous, free, and virtuous model for the nations of the world.

Compare Reagan's words with Trump's reality:

(BTW, can anyone identify the incident at 1:02? I find it very disturbing that he was pushed down for no reason. I'm curious to know what happened to the victim.)

They're in good company. Reagan's children said he would've been against Trump, too.

Does it bother you that Trump wants to open the schools prematurely in the worst hit areas of the country even when it means children will die? I hear now that the virus can cause brain swelling in mild cases leading to brain damage in the future.

reply

Want and doing something is 2 different things. I want to have my own Island, but I doubt that will ever happen. All dems complain about is what Trump "wants" to do. If kids dont go back to school and can just learn at home then whats the point of having schools anymore? Same for colleges, the majority of students will be online.

I don't know what the solution is, but I know the most people under 25 are not affected by the virus. My niece said she is ready to go back to school so she can see her friends.

But people in their 20s and 30s are also more likely to go out socializing, experts say, raising concerns that asymptomatic young people are helping to spread the virus to more vulnerable Americans at a time when cases are surging dangerously in the South and the West.

No single answer fully accounts for the surge of cases among young people, who are less likely to be hospitalized or die from the coronavirus than older people.

I suggest you get your information from doctors instead of politicians.

Young people stupidly believe they're not going to get it or their case will be mild so they party. 20% of patients are young. Many Americans are overweight or have risks factors like diabetes or high blood pressure.

Even those with mild cases are suffering from brain inflammation and blood clots. This illness attacks different organs which may not be obvious at first.

Many people are low in Vitamin D which is another risk factor.

Under 25, your source is for one person over 30.

No solution, just hate as always.

Whats Bidens plan for the millions of students?

reply

Better than Trump's plan to kill the students.

reply

If its better than can you explain it to me?

reply

Donald Trump is Ronald Reagan in the Upside Down.

reply

That is one powerful advertisement. I'd like to know what happened to that man, and why he was pushed down.
