Joe Biden was a US Senator at 30

1972. The minimum age to become a US Senator.

If elected in 2020 he will be the oldest elected President in US history.

These twin feats will likely never be repeated.

A 79 yr old President, what can go wrong? loolz

reply

You do realize Trump will be 79 while in office if he get's re-elected, right?

As for what can go wrong, I think we're seeing that right now.

reply

Trump was 70 when he took office and will be 78 when his Presidency is over.

Biden will be 79 if he starts his Presidency and would be 87 when he leaves.

reply

You're giving Biden two terms, that's a generous prediction!

I feel you're splitting hairs a bit. The 5 years between Trump and Biden is an almost insignificant gap.

reply

It is! lol

5 years is not much when a person is already old. I wish there was age limits on Congress, Judicial and the President. You would be surprised how many are pushing 80. I think the majority of people start losing their cognitive function after 65 or 70.

reply

Nearly fifty years of government service. This is one major reason why he will crush Trump in November.

reply

And no one can name a single accomplishment.

I think being instrumental in the introduction of the Violence against Woman act is pretty significant. A decade of service as the Vice President of the United States might be something he lists on his résumé too.

While Trump was bonking porn stars and telling people they are fired on TV, Biden was busy representing his constituents and running the country, the same country that has now all but gone to custard under Prez Don Don and his revolving door of an administration.

Anyway, I think people are tired and just want a leader who is considered and rational. Accomplishments may be completely beside the point at this stage.
