It really is hypocrisy wanting to help Hong Kong

Hong Kong is part of China. Now they are starting to have to live as the rest of China, and some are outraged.

Why aren't these same people outraged by what China does on the mainland? Like the millions in reeducation camps?

I see a big double standard here.

I don’t see it as hypocrisy. We are not always able to accomplish what we want. Sometimes there is not anything we are sure will help. It is not hypocrisy for me to stop and change the tire for an old lady stranded on the side of the road, just because I’m not changing the tires for everybody. If there is a potential to act beneficially, go with it.
