Trumpers in tears as Target, Best Buy and US Bank make 'Juneteenth' a company holiday

Trumpers are in tears over the fact that Minnesota-based companies Target, Best Buy and US Bank are officially making Juneteenth a company holiday for their employees.

“We recognize that the racial trauma the country is experiencing now is not new, but throughout recent weeks there has been a sense that this time is, and has to be, different,” said Brian Cornell, Target’s chairman and chief executive, in a statement. “Juneteenth takes on additional significance in this moment.”

For Target employees, that means full-time hourly employees may take this Friday off with pay, while hourly employees who decide to work will get time-and-a-half that day. The Target headquarters will be closed in observance of the holiday.

Best Buy is following suit by offering its employees a 'paid volunteer day' which can be used this Friday or any other day during the year. By June 20121, it will become a formal paid company holiday. (They are also shortening their hours of operation on Election Day this year, to make sure their employees and customers take time to vote).

US Bank is shortening their hours on Friday, closing their 2700 branches across 26 states at 1PM on Friday.

No word yet on how Trump support groups like Boogaloo Bois, Proud Boyz, and other NeoNazi groups plan on 'celebrating' this Friday. I'm sure it will involve confederate flags, armed rifles and burning crosses - but no masks to cover their COVID germs.

It was Democrats who looted those stores. I saw it. Mostly black people. And, as you Dems are so fond of pointing out, most black people vote Democrat.

If it's facts you are stating, please cite your sources.

Cite the sources which back up your claim that 'it was Democrats who looted the stores' and 'mostly black people'.

Solid reliable sources, not 'your opinion or belief' and not propaganda or conspiracy BS. Then I will believe you are stating a fact and not pulling racist bullshit out of your ass.

Your own eyes saw that they were Democrats. So in that case, with your own eyes, they showed you proof that they were Democrats, while looting the stores.

Did they flash you their voter registration cards with their affiliation to the Democratic Party as they were looting ?

Did the Black people show you their voter registration cards which showed they belong to the Democratic party?

I didn't see anyone flash their voter registration cards for the news cameras, so I have no idea who these looters were. I also saw a mix of races on TV. Then again, I wasn't watching the coverage on OAN or FOX.
