Let's not forget that America was just a week ago simmering with tension over lockdown and unemployment with protesters already taking to the streets. The anger over the Floyd murder was like throwing petrol on the flame, and now we have a firestorm. Point is, it's impossible to say there is only one reason America is looking more and more like the middle-east on a bad day.
I have to wonder if this is what Trump envisioned when he promised to make America great again.

How do you know the problem is racial though? How do you know its not just cultural or systematic? The black community is upset at how they are treated by cops. Is it racial just because black people have to deal with it more, or are there other variables in play? There's a system in place that allows cops to get away with brutality against victims who have far less agency. Is it racial just because cops have more agency, or are there other variables in play?
This is why we need to have the discussion. But if a guy goes out there and takes a knee during the national anthem to open up the dialogue, conservatives ban it to ensure no conversation is had. It's the same problem of two classes of agency over and over again, with the higher class always prevailing.
