Republicans, say something you dislike about Trump. Democrats, say something you like about Trump.

Concrete policies or actions, not trivial personal/rhetoric stuff.

I'll get it started.

I don't like his blanket opposition to entitlement reform, though it's probably politically expedient. I don't like how long it's taken to assert presidential authority he always had to build the wall and initiate some of the much needed immigration reforms, and he still hasn't tried to repeal the anchor baby loophole like he discussed during the campaign. He surrounded himself with too many establishment types who don't support his agenda, especially early on.

There. I basically listed 4 items, with a couple of caveats. I'm also not crazy about negotiating with the Taliban though it depends on exactly how it's done so I won't include that here.

Quit trying to get people on here to think outside the box...they are happy to be ridiculously and hypocritically over the top biased. Haha.

As you can see by the lack of replies...they just can’t bring themselves to do it. Their political party is all they are, and they will NEVER admit that “their” party has ever done anything wrong.

We are forever doomed to a world of extremist politics, and the definition of hypocrisy personified.

what do independents say? Its foolish to assume that anti-trump people are all democrats

reply

I know Republicans who don't like him, either. Some used to support him.

reply

Or that pro Trump people are Republicans

reply

As usual most Independents broke Republican, and certainly there are Democrats who support Trump. But hopefully respondents don't need paragraphs of precise guidelines to figure this out and avoid being hopelessly confused or trying to be pedantic and whiffing. Referring to "Trump supporters" or "Trump opponents" would have problems too since that generally useful but technically nebulous set up can viewed as being in a constant state of flux.

If you generally support Trump then say something critical. If you generally oppose Trump then say something positive. The dividing line on this board has been pretty clear cut, which is partly the point of this thread.

Trump Is always right and stubborn

Conservative here: His blasted mouth! Stick a sock into it so I don’t have cringe when you speak! “Foot in mouth disease” does not a POTUS make! In other words...Zip It!🤐

I can't deny that I like two things: Hope Hicks and Kayleigh Mcenany.

reply

I'm a Democrat, and I hate the way they have turned the party into identity politics.

I like that he screwed Stormy Daniels.

Allegedly. She wouldn't be the first one to lie about something like that looking for a pay day. Any scheme involving Michael "Buttercup" Avenatti has to be taken with a grain of salt.
