Bombshell IG report on FISA abuse contradicts Dem/media claims; pervasive wrongdoing to spy on Trump campaign.
This non-virus news is big and is worth reading. At best the FISA process is broken and has been routinely abused.

Just a few quick takeaways:
- The IG found "critical errors" in ALL 29 of the warrant applications it audited.
- They're required to included "Woods files" showing independent verification of their claims. 25 of the applications contained an average of 20 unsupported assertions, with one having 65 unsupported assertions. The other 4 applications contained no Woods files at all.
- Refuting lies for years by Obama officials, the IG confirmed that the warrants to surveil Trump campaign staffer Carter Page was "essentially a single source FISA" based on the dossier.
- The FBI had already been told by the CIA that Carter Page had informed them of his contacts with Russian officials and that Page had been working as a CIA informant. Yet FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith doctored the CIA's response to hide that fact, and the FBI insinuated to the FISA court that he was a Russian agent.
- Among many other violations, Obama officials cited an anti-Trump Washington Post opinion piece, without quotes, as independent "evidence" of possible collusion with Russia, while hiding how dubious they had already found the anti-Trump Steele dossier to be, and that they knew it had been funded by Clinton's campaign and the DNC.
- Public commentary by CNN "expert" Asha Rangappa and Politico's Natasha Bertrand, who both advanced their careers by talking about how hard it is to get a FISA warrant (despite it being unclear that Rangappa has ever handled one) and how scrupulous the process is has been completely refuted and discredited, as was a litany of false claims by Adam Schiff leveled in a then celebrated broadside against Devin Nunes, who was right.
