I am so sick and tired of hearing about the coronovirus! It's all over the news on radio, TV, newspapers. Why is the stock market crashing because of the virus? What has the virus got to do with the stock market. I think that this is just a distraction to quiet down the horrible politics!
shareIt's going to here for a while, probably. Spanish Flu was almost 3 years. The swine flu was for almost 2 years.
Friday it was 102,000 cases worldwide. Saturday was 106,000. Yesterday it was 110,000. Today it's 113,000. At this rate, it's increasing by 3000 to 4000 per day. If this keeps up, it won't be good.
A distraction? Yes and no. It's just nature. There's two strains of the virus by the way: mild and severe. It is supposed that America does have more of the mild strain. But who knows, it can mutate.
If people are at home and not working, money isn't being generated therefore stock market is affected when money isn't being generated. Comprende?

sharePeople canceling concerts, cruises, trips, not working, no school, not shopping... That's economic lost which means a possible global recession. The stock market is all about future company earnings.
