After his victory in the Nevada caucuses, Sanders is leading in Colorado and Virginia. Sanders has a 14 point lead over his next closest rival, Elizabeth Warren in Colorado and a 9 point lead over his next closest rival, Biden in Virginia. In both of these states, several candidates are hovering right around the 15 point threshold for delegate allocation with significant effects on overall delegate counts depending on how many candidates hit this threshold.

Sanders continues to perform extremely strongly with voters under 45, with a majority of these younger voters in each state supporting him. His vote lead is substantially larger in both states among voters with their minds made up and voters who are extremely enthusiastic about their vote choice.

Both states vote next Tuesday, March 3rd.

...so much for Americans not wanting to vote for a communist.

Bernie is on the path to giving the DNC a repeat of 2008, but the DNC desperately wants another 2016.

reply

Yep. This election is becoming a real eye opener. All the Dems and NeverTrumpers complaining about Sanders potentially reducing turnout if he's the nominee...SHOULD TURN OUT AND VOTE FOR HIM ANYWAY! Jesus Christ, that's all it takes to avoid four years of Trump.

reply

How is Sanders doing in Florida?

reply

He'd be doing great if both parties weren't spending all their time attacking him.

reply

Do you mean doing well with Cubans who fled Fidel and hate communism would support Fidel-loving commie Sanders?

reply

Did I miss something about Florida being the only state left in the primary?

reply

Do you believe most Cubans will vote for Sanders?

reply

You keep sounding like you are pro trump after all this.

reply

Do you believe most Cubans will vote for Sanders?

reply

Somehow I knew you'd repeat the same post. You stuck on replay or something?

reply

Why are you afraid to answer the question? Do you believe most Cubans will vote for Sanders?

reply

Frankly I don't care, is why. If Cubans want to not vote Sanders over a thirty year beef with Castro and get four more years of Trump, that's their right. Cuz that's what they'll end up doing to themselves.

reply

I know Sanders' cultists don't care. You just want FREE stuff to be handed to you instead of actually working and paying for it yourself.

You're too dumb to understand that Sanders and Warren's plans are not affordable nor practical. If only 10% are not insured, then you find a way to insure them. You don't need to destroy the entire system for the 90% who are insured. Allow Trump to be reelected because "you don't care" then the percentage will likely raise to 25% since he's against ACA, medicaid and medicare and trying to defund them.

More stupidity and government waste: Pay for college for multi-millionaires instead of targeting people who actually need the help.

When Trump wins again I don't want to see your sorry selves on TV weeping like you did in 2016.

reply

I was on TV in 2016? News to me.

reply

Yes. The only democrats that want Sanders to lose are the DNC elites that either want to keep their tax cuts or don't want Sanders to be the one that beats Trump and don't mind waiting four more years. All this nonsense about communism and Cuba are a smokescreen so the elites can continuing saying progressivism is a losing strategy.

reply

No. Sanders cannot win. It will take a moderate. Study politics in the last 100 years.

reply

Of course. I mean, it worked so well in 2016.

reply

Nevertheless, a moderate has won every election for the last 100 years. One exception is an exception, not the rule. The Hillary loss had more to do with her ignoring swing states which is exactly what Sanders' cultists are doing now by pretending those states aren't more moderate than coastal states like NY and CA.

A commie vs a patriot waving the American flag? The flag-waver is going to win and that's not Sanders.

reply

What will be his VP?

reply

No idea.

reply

Big question.

reply

You do have stupid ideas:

Get rid of all private companies. Replace them with government-run companies. Assume that the "elites" will stick around to pay for everyone's FREE health insurance, FREE college tuition and FREE childcare.

You're also too stupid to know that Florida, a key swing state has a large Cuban population which hates Fidel and communism. Sanders just ceded that state to Trump.

The Sanders' cultists are even stupider than the Trump' cultists which is a huge achievement considering the latters' very low IQ.

The way I see it, you're envious of rich people aka: "elites" and want to steal their money while you sit on your backside instead of actually working for it. Since you like FREE so much, consider this FREE advice. Work for your own money instead of trying to steal someone else's.

reply

"..Get rid of all private companies. Replace them with government-run companies."

Who's advocating this? Even if Sanders won and wanted the Stalinist takeover you're fearmongerng about, no way Congress would let it fly. You're unraveling again.

reply

You just contradicted yourself!

"Get rid of all private companies. Replace them with government-run companies."
Who's advocating this?

Sanders' national health insurance plan which you want is getting rid of all private health care and replacing it with government-run companies! You and Sanders are advocating this!!

You have no idea what democratic socialism is, do you? Their economic model is communism:

"Social ownership could take many forms, such as worker-owned cooperatives or publicly owned enterprises managed by workers and consumer representatives. While the large concentrations of capital in industries such as energy and steel may necessitate some form of state ownership, many consumer-goods industries might be best run as cooperatives."

"no way Congress would let it fly. "
You're rather clueless aren't you? You're missing the entire point. Again.

By definition, Sanders is a commie. Trump will make sure that voters know Sanders is a commie. While Trump is waving the American flag Sanders will be praising Fidel. The majority of Americans aren't going to vote for a commie.

People in middle America are conservative and they are the swing states. Patriot with American flag vs Fidel-loving commie? Trump will win by a landslide.

The Democrats have a good chance of winning not only the presidency, but the senate and more gubernatorial and local races. That means power to change things for the better which you want. Sanders will lose his race, the senate, and congress.

You can't be so out of touch with fellow Americans that you don't know most Americans support and want to keep capitalism.

I lived in Florida for over 20 years. I'll tell you for a fact that Cubans living there don't care if someone gave some praise to Cuba 50 years ago. Just like they didn't care when Obama repeated the same praise in 2016. They are all too busy living paycheck to paycheck.

Get rid of all private companies? This is a ridiculous strawman. Nobody is calling for such a thing. That is the nonsense I'm talking about. All you do all day long is criticize things nobody advocates.

You're pissed off at me because Bernie is in the lead. But you don't care WHY he is in the lead. You ignore it, all while pretending he's going to lose when you have no idea how anyone else would do better. Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania. That is the win condition. Bernie does the best there.

If Biden, Buttigieg or even Bloomberg showed me something, anything, that they could beat Trump, then I would support them. But the only logical conclusion I can make here is they are the biggest risk of repeating 2016 where people in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania stayed home because they weren't interested in another corporate puppet. You skip that whole conversation and just name-call and rage over Bernie being in the lead and pull strawmans from your rear end. It's quite pathetic.

"Florida’s Latino Democrats Decry Bernie Sanders’s Cuba Comments as Candidate Digs In
Important swing state is home to generations of voters who fled Cuba, Nicaragua, Venezuela

MIAMI—Sen. Bernie Sanders’s recent comments on Cuba have drawn condemnation in Latino-heavy Florida and fanned some Democrats’ fears that he would doom their chances of winning the swing state if he is the party’s presidential nominee."

Did you even associate with any Cubans when you were in Florida? You appear to be out of touch.

"Get rid of all private companies? This is a ridiculous strawman. Nobody is calling for such a thing."
Bernie's national health care would end all private health insurance and replace it with government health insurance. YOU AND SANDERS WANT TO GET RID OF PRIVATE COMPANIES!!

reply

Only a moderate DEM can beat Trump.

Sanders is not moderate. Pete is gay. Biden has the only chance.

Joe can win this as the economy crashes.

reply

Sanders isn't even a Democrat.

Let us not argue over socialism vs communism

Are you Cuban? You sound like you had an uncle that died during the Bay Of Pigs.

VA is almost a Communist state now. This will certain hurt them more.
