What's this? T-rump admits he sent Rudy to Ukraine to get dirt on the Bidens?

Now that the Republicans held their sham impeachment trial on T-rump, seems like T-rump is finally admitting the truth during his victory tour, which included an interview with FOX contributor Geraldo Rivera.

Months ago, T-rump was asked by reporters if he sent his private attorney Rudy Ghouliani to Ukraine to dig up dirt on his political rival Joe Biden and his son Hunter. T-rump adamantly denied such a suggestion, and said he had no idea why Rudy was in Ukraine - he does have 'other clients', after all. Someone else probably sent him.

During yesterday's interview with Rivera, he was asked the same question - and had a very different answer.

"Was it strange to send Rudy Giuliani to Ukraine, your personal lawyer? Are you sorry you did that?", asked Rivera.

"Not at all. Rudy was a great crime fighter, you know that, maybe better than anybody. And Rudy is totally on his game," resoneded T-rump

T-rump explained that he "used" Giuliani instead of the FBI because the FBI spied on his campaign in 2016.

"So when you tell me, why did I use Rudy — and one of the things about Rudy — number one, he was one of the very best prosecutors, and the best mayor. But also, other presidents had them ... they all had lawyers ... and they do things for them. It's really circumventing — but very legally — and maybe getting things done faster."

I guess when the Republican Party tells the President nothing he does will ever be seen as illegal, you start telling the truth since there will be no consequences - ever .

Pretty sure we all knew that. Nothing can be done though since impeachment is long over. He can basically admit it all he wants and it wouldn't matter anymore. I don't think you can re-impeach a president that's already been acquitted, at least I never seen it happen before.

reply

A president is always open to impeachment. The House can bring new charges against him, which they just might once Bolton's book comes out and he starts talking.

Guess you missed this. I don't think he'll talk, the book will speak for itself though and left to be interpreted but vague enough for anyone to take any leads on their own.

Where's the quote where he allegedly "admitted" anything controversial or contradicted his past statements? He's always said he "used" Rudy to aggressively defend himself from the Russia/collusion hoax charges.

More fake news BS from the discredited CNN. Another lame manufactured "scandal" of the week because Democrats, the party of never ending impeachment, don't want to discuss real issues and policies that impact Americans' lives.

You really need to enroll in a few remedial reading courses. Comprehension still escapes you.

reply

Har hah! Burn.

reply

LOL! Maybe you can succeed where poor Doggiedaddy failed and provide the allegedly damning quote, moron.

reply

Trump is a lying sack of shit. Nothing new there.

reply

Pretty much.

reply

Well, Trump's defense argued he was allowed to do it, and the senate acquitted. There's no reason for him to lie about it any more. He's got a license to rig.

reply

What a country we live in now. No more law and order.

reply

You seem to be fascinated by Donald Trump's backside. You're all "rump" this and "rump" that. It's significant that you spotted that opportunity in his name.

reply

His fantasy is to lick cheeto dust off of President Trump's a$$.

reply

Actually, I'm fascinated that we have a criminal running the country and none of the republicans seem to care.

reply

They don't give a shit. As long as their guy is in power they are fine with it. Trump tweeted the other day about "striking at the king". Can you imagine the uproar if a Democrat President had said this? King? You would never here the end of it.

Republicans have sold their soul to this man and when the ride is over I guarantee you they will distance themselves the same way they distanced themselves from Bush Jr.

reply

If the FBI spied on me, I would NOT trust them to do a job for me. Only a fool would do that.

reply

If the FBI was truly spying on you, and there was evidence of this and they were charged - yes, that makes sense.

But in T-rump's case, who suffers from paranoia, this was not the case at all. So it makes no sense.

reply

In the last few years there have been some amazing changes happening, because some awful things have happened to children.

What you see isn't what you see.

What you hear isn't what you hear.

Truth is not truth.

Up is down.

Left is right.

The sky is green and the grass is blue.

We didn't mean that Rudy was sent to get dirt on the Bidens.

OK, Rudy was sent to get dirt on the Bidens but it's not unethical.

OK, it was unethical, but who cares?

OK, many people care. Too bad. Get over it.

That's pretty much the Party of Trump line of "defense" these days.

reply

OMG - you got it in a nutshell! LOL!

reply

You'd think I was doing a parody but this is a model for how repubs handled donald's impeachment.
