Americans ask: "Best economy ever" or a "national economic emergency" ?

So much for the 'best economy' in fifty years. This week, T-rump said he'd be cutting the scheduled pay raises for federal workers, due to 'serious economic conditions' in our country.

His constant bragging about the performance of our economy (which he inflates at record speed) regularly consists of him cherry-picking which is good (which he takes credit for) and what is bad (which he blames his predecessors for). T-rumptards live in that Twitter bubble where T-rump regularly Tweets his updates, which in turn fires up his base:

"Another new Stock Market Record. Enjoy!" and "While the world is not doing well economically, our Country is doing better, perhaps, than it has ever done before. Jobs, Jobs, Jobs!"

On Monday, he announced the country is in the midst of a “national emergency or serious economic conditions affecting the general welfare,” which the White House says authorizes the president to “implement alternative plans for pay adjustments.” He's slashing federal pay raises from 2.5% set for civilian employees to a mere 1% in 2021.

So is it the "best economy ever" or a "national economic emergency" ? Someone ain't telling the truth.
