Defense destroys "quid pro quo" claim; refutes various Schiff lies; Javelin missiles were NOT part of paused aid.

The most devastating part of today's argument for the Democrat case. After one day the Democrats' 21+ hours of argument already lay in ruins. This segment starts at 34:24 and lasts about 38 minutes.

6 Key facts that are expounded on with overwhelming evidence from the House hearings, but completely omitted by Democrats' trial presentation:

1. The call transcript shows NO LINK between investigations and security assistance or a presidential meeting. The paused funds aren’t even mentioned in the call.

2. Ukrainians REPEATEDLY have said there was NO QUID PRO QUO, and they felt NO PRESSURE.

3. Ukraine DID NOT KNOW security assistance was paused until more than a month after the call.

4. NONE of the Democrats’ witnesses say President Trump linked investigations to security assistance or a meeting.

5. Ukraine announced no investigations and STILL RECEIVED security assistance and a presidential meeting.

6. President Trump STRENGTHENED US support for Ukraine above what Obama did.

The above is basically what I and others have been laying out since near the beginning of this farce, facts that have never changed.

Trump asked them to do "us", the country, not him, a favor. That was not tied to Javelins. Even if it had been Javelins were a separate deal and not part of the paused security aid, which was never mentioned in the call.

1:05:05 leads to a funny montage of Sondland admitting variations of having "guessed" or "presumed" that aid was tied to investigation over 30 times, despite never hearing any person say that.

Taylor and Morrison came to believe that entirely based on Sondland's comments before he spoke with the President.

Sondland finally asked the President directly and was told, "I want nothing. I want no quid pro quo."

Senator Johnson, having heard earlier speculative gossip from Sondland, asked Trump the same thing and got the same clear, adamant answer. "No way. I would never do that. Who told you that?"

Other witnesses like Under Secretary of State David Hale, George Kent, and Ambassador Volker all testified that there was no quid pro quo.

Schiff is such a lightweight it really is hilarious the Democrat media/party and their lemmings have put all their eggs in his basket.

A complete nobody congressmen from CA no one had ever heard of 2 years ago.

The historic lies, corruption, and incompetence behind this impeachment sham will be recorded for all of history. No level of revision from our communist comrades in the media/education industries will be able to erase this abortion.

Real first hand witnesses like the Ukrainians who instantly debunked the story? No, this Democrat crafted narrative was garbage like Russia collusion was. Democrats shouldn't have voted impeachment out of the House without having a case. Crying to continue a blind fishing expedition by calling new witnesses and evidence in the Senate trial is pathetic.

We also were informed 2 of the 4 FISA warrants were NOT valid!

“The FISA court's top judge wrote in a secret ruling on January 7 that at least two of the four spy warrants against Carter Page were invalid and not lawfully authorized!” The ball is going to end up back in Comey’s lap!

“The false and invalid April 7 application was personally signed by James Comey, while the false and invalid June 29 application was signed by Andrew McCabe. Both men were referred for criminal prosecution by the inspector general.” Read this again!

A huge lawsuit by Page will lead to millions! Where does he go to get his good name back?

The invalid warrants lead to the “dossier” which was paid for by Hillary. Obama was also involved. The caca 💩 is beginning to hit the fan! Yahoo! The house of cards are falling.

The abuse of the FISA process, complete with lies that should land some of those corrupt officials in prison and likely will lead to the entire FISA process being scrapped or heavily modified, to spy on an opposing presidential campaign is light years worse than anything Trump is even falsely accused of.

The anti-Trumpers need to listen carefully to the first link posted in the OP by krl97a. Listen with an open mind, to the beginning of Pres. Trump’s defense given by Attorneys Pat Cipollone, Michael Purpura, Jay Sekulow and Patrick Philbin. If the anti-Trumpers are fair a seed of doubt will be planted. Don’t take my word, krl97a’s word, Gd5150’s word or any other person’s word for the facts. If you cannot rise above your bias, I would hope you never serve on a jury.

To dislike Trump, or in the case of anti-Trumpers who absolutely despise him, the bias may be so strong to the point...facts won’t matter. They then become the minions of Adam Schiff. The truth hurts and they can’t handle the truth. Why? As Schiff, Nadler, Pelosi, et al, the anti-Trumpers goal of removing a duly elected POTUS is beyond reach. Their arsenal of lies did not work much to their chagrin!

I remember reading articles about how the Accused at the Salem Witch Trials were being treated more fairly than our President. Other articles written by people who were actually involved with Nixon and Clinton's impeachment trials also said that this entire situation does not stack up the same because there isn't an actual crime that has been committed.
