An excellent book that I recommend is called, "The Cult of Trump: A Leading Cult Expert Explains How the President Uses Mind Control" by Steven Hassan.
He made some excellent arguments in support of Trump being a personality cult and discussed in detail which mind control techniques he uses.
There are other books which also mention brainwashing techniques used by Trump.
When Trumpists act like they don't have the ability to think objectively about a politician then that is cultlike behavior whether you want to admit it or not.
