Trump was right about Puerto Rico

They found all the hidden relief the PR government hid from the public to preach Orange Man Bad.

Pathetic.

He should throw a few paper towels.

reply

They hid supplies to make Trump look bad? Pure insanity. They didn't have enough people/equipment to distribute them. You guys believe the craziest stuff then shout "fake news!" whenever it suits you.

reply

I believe the evidence.

reply

And what evidence is that? A post which starts with "Hello guys, Puerto Rican here." ? LOL!

I can't believe this thread was even started.

Two years ago Puerto Rico was complaining they didn't have the manpower to distribute all the supplies in a quick enough fashion, and now we find there were 80 pallets (of the nearly 700 total) left that had expired items on them.

Your thread should be titled Puerto Rico was right about Puerto Rico.

But MAGAs gotta MAGA I guess.

reply

Look at the sources. Not a news source, but some idiot on the reddit message forum is reporting this - and B1ckSurN reports it here like it's 'breaking news'. LOL!

He is "Dickburn" now.

You connect to two "fake news" sources of the past 4 years? Not going to cut it, sorry.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!

reply

Or are these "fake news sources" only fake when you want them to be fake ? Do tell...

reply

You said they were fake because the news vindicated Trump. And I also like your new sock account dickswipe. He always seems to agree with you for some reason.

LOL!

reply

You’ve been calling them fake news for four years. Make up your mind - it’s either fake news sources or it’s not. Which is it?

reply

Then we both agree from now on, any news source you post will be fake news.

reply

I agreed to nothing of the kind. I pointed out that you're using sources which you have claimed to be 'fake news' for the past five years...until the other day. Try to keep up.

reply

Its either all fake or all real, you gotta make up your mind.

reply

Doggiedaddy really doesn't know when to cut his losses and minimize his humiliation.

reply

I know, but I enjoy his dim witted banter.

reply

lets not forget they blamed trump for not sending things and then horde it privately. There were also videos of many tractor trailor trucks full of food as well rotting away

Puerto Rico asked for more people to help.

Two years ago Puerto Rico was complaining they didn't have the manpower to distribute all the supplies in a quick enough fashion, and now we find there were 80 pallets (of the nearly 700 total) left that had expired items on them.

reply

Reddit? REDDIT? This is a joke, right? You're using...reddit as a source for this?

reply

[deleted]

That's what I say. Some prankster on reddit who starts his message with ""Hello guys, Puerto Rican here." And Dickburn calls this 'evidence'.

reply

The Trumpers call "The Enquirer" evidence so this is no surprise. Idiots...

reply

Exactly. The OP doesn't have a clue.

There were nearly 700 pallets in total, Puerto Rico complained they didn't have the manpower to distribute them all out in time, and now we find 80 pallets left that had expired consumables on them.

The title should read Puerto Rico was right about Puerto Rico.

reply

Cool song. Enjoy.

reply

What are you doing, exactly? You've linked two songs to me now and I guess I'm not understanding the context of what you're trying to say.

reply

Did you not also see CNN and CBS as sources?

From CNN:

“Puerto Rico emergency director fired after residents discover warehouse full of Hurricane Maria supplies”

https://www.cnn.com/2020/01/18/us/puerto-rico-emergency-director-fired/index.html

reply

Your source contravenes the OP. Your source says 600 pallets were distributed and 80 were not because many items on those pallets had expired which makes sense if you understand the problems PR had with distribution.

The OP says the pallets were intentionally hidden from people, not even addressing the potential health risk.

reply

First of all it’s not my source, it was the OP’s from CNN. Secondly it does *not* contravene the sources. Read it more carefully. Did you even watch the video?

“Puerto Rico Gov. Wanda Vázquez Garced fired the island's emergency manager, hours after a *warehouse filled with supplies was discovered.*

The emergency aid is believed to be from when Hurricane Maria hit the island two years ago, the governor said.“

“Earlier on Saturday, numerous pallets of water and other boxes with emergency supplies were found at a warehouse in the earthquake ravaged city of Ponce.” That would be January 18, 2020.

“Nearly 80 of those pallets remain in the warehouse because they expired, he said.” Of course they are expired...NOW.

reply

“Nearly 80 of those pallets remain in the warehouse because they expired, he said.” Of course they are expired...NOW.
The source doesn't say they expired recently though. That's you making shit up to fulfill a narrative. They've been in the warehouse the whole time because they expired years ago, not because they were hidden, but because Puerto Rico didn't have the manpower to distribute ALL of the 700 pallets in time before they reached their expiration. Puerto Rico told us that two years ago. Naturally, they didn't have the manpower to destroy the remaining 80 pallets either.

reply

“They've been in the warehouse the whole time because they expired years ago”

Now that’s you making caca up to fill a narrative.

I’m not making anything up. There are items that don’t expire. Do you even know what was found in the warehouse? I think not. Why are you arguing about this? The report is available from many news sources. BTW, you can’t honestly believe the usable supplies could not have been distributed within the past 2 years. Hell, the residents started distributing the goods themselves. It’s called Manpower!

From USA Today:

“Ponce Mayor María Meléndez said she was outraged, noting that she and other mayors have been trying to find basic supplies since the quake.

‘I spent several days requesting cots and water,” she said. “They sent me to Cabo Rojo for the cots and to San Juan for the water. If I had known that those supplies were there, I would have demanded that they be taken out immediately.’ “

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/world/2020/01/20/puerto-rico-warehouse-supplies-unused-after-hurricane-maria/4522472002/

reply

It's very simple.

Puerto Rico said they didn't have the manpower to distribute all of the 700 pallets in time. And now we find pallets with some expired items on them.

Either Puerto Rico had the manpower or they didn't. What is your take?

Because right now all you are doing is hiding behind people who are outraged the items didn't get distributed in time. Yes, we know that. Puerto Rico told us two years ago they had problems finding people to help.

reply

From my prior reply:

“BTW, you can’t honestly believe the usable supplies could not have been distributed within the past 2 years. Hell, the residents started distributing the goods themselves. It’s called Manpower!“

There are cots! Cots and other usable supplies!

You’re damn straight I’m hiding behind people who are outraged...the residents who found the supplies! Good Grief! What is wrong with you? Do you not read different news sources before posting?

reply

Okay, now follow your own logic. If there was enough people to get the supplies out, then why did those supplies sit in a warehouse until expiration?

I'm fully aware 600 pallets were distributed. But we are specifically talking about the 80 that did not. My question to you is, why do you think they weren't distributed?

reply

Okay, I know without a doubt...you aren’t that dense. I’m doing my best to keep from shouting so I will emphasize. They found MORE than 80!

Again, the mayor:

***“Ponce Mayor María Meléndez said she was outraged, noting that she and other mayors have been trying to find basic supplies since the quake.

‘I spent several days requesting cots and water,” she said. “They sent me to Cabo Rojo for the cots and to San Juan for the water. If I had known that those supplies were there, I would have demanded that they be taken out immediately.’ “***

You:
“... then why did those supplies sit in a warehouse until expiration?”

Because they did NOT know they were there. The RESIDENTS JUST FOUND THEM! All items were NOT expired! I take it back...you are thick!,

reply

I have a couple of really all out liberal friends in Austin. They are half Puerto Rican but you really don't want to hear what they say about that country from what there family says to them about what is going on there.
